Thread size for manifold bolts/studs?

It appears the thread size is different for the studs ( outside edges) and the bolts for the manifolds. Anyone know the sizes? I am thinking 3/8-16. But the studs on the end appear fine thread. The stud was stripped and I need to re-thread it. Thank you!!!

Many times, studs will have a coarse thread on one end, and a fine thread on the other. For 3/8", the thread pitches would be 16 (coarse) and 24 (fine).

(these are carb mounting studs, but you get the idea.)

You might be able to retread to 5/16" dia, but that stripped stud will never hold a 3/8" dia nut again.
The thread that goes into the head is 3/8"X16thd N/C.

Or you can get replacement studs. They're not too hard to find. I think I got mine at Ace Hardware.

On my 78 304 I have 10 3/8-16 and 2 sae 7/16 on the #1 hole. Out of those 2 7/16, 1 of them was a stud 7/16 to the engine and 3/8 through the header. That was fun to find.
