Does it have any decals on the tub?

If not, buffing out the original paint and adding a set of OEM spec decals could really make it look sharp.

Something like this Scrambler for example:

if its like my old cj 1984 model

I really do not remember what color it is, as it has mud on it most of the time.

so if you do not like blue, then rub mud on it and you will be cool at the local hamburger joint.

just be happy it still has paint of any color on it.

most old jeeps the rust under the paint has pushed the paint off years ago.

With it being rust free and original, I would leave it as such and enjoy it in original form..( if it was me ) . Just don't see them like that anymore.

PICS PICS PICS
As an original owner of an 82 CJ7 Renegade in slate blue w/ white hardtop, I'm anxiously awaiting. In 31 years I've never seen another just like it and am wondering which blue it will be.

I agree. That thing looks in great shape. Good buy and it stays in the family.

I love it. Having so much fun cruizing around. Found a few things that need tightening. Not the original color, should be slate blue.
