thoughts on 1982 cj7

I am thinking of buying my mothers cj. It is an 82 renegade. Brand new engine, front warn hubs brakes suspension ect. The frame is rust free as is the body. Paint is origional and very good. The only area of rust is the rear body mounts. Has a very nice brand new warn winch.
Only has a bikini top.

Is $7000.00 way too much? I am a former auto mechanic (now electrician) I went over every inch of this jeep looking for rust. It is from arkansas never saw salt.

Thoughts?

Ask your mom if it comes with a warranty
Then, BUY IT

LG should get commission! That was a pretty quick sell! Post some pics up when you bring it home. I'd love to see it.

Is it the original paint?

If so, you should leave it IMO.

There are several different methods to 'restore' the condition of the paint online. Just remember, a vehicle only wears its factory paint once.
