The body is a Citoen (French). In Europe it's known as the "Ugly Duckling".

It is a Citroen 2CV with a deckchair for a roof. This looks like a mid 80s model which sold well despite being painfully slow with a 2 cylinder flat air cooled engine.

It was built as a farmer's vehicle and could cross a polughed field without breaking a basket of eggs on the passenger seat. Very soft suspension.

It is not even funny seeing it on a CJ7 chassis

No you guys are all wrong.

It is a rare CJ7. AMC had to cut costs so they started using old bodies. Then it went from there. You know the story. Chrysler, coil springs, JKs, minivan engines.

Just Joking it reminds me of the CJ Metro project on this board.

That suspension was actually very big rubber bands. My German cousin had one a long time ago. I just couldn't believe the places that little piece of junk would go!

I'm European and I can say that that is a false idea...in a lot of the Arabic countries that statement will be true, but in Europe?? nope.
