Is there anything extra that i need when i install a 2.5" lift

If i were to install a 2.5" lift for my '83cj7, what extra things would i need to accompany it?

Only on rare occasions have I seen guys with a 2.5" lift drop the transfer case or shim the axles. You should be fine without either of those.

If when you're done with the springs and shocks, just check your brake hoses to make sure they are not banjo string tight. You may have to get newer, longer ones.

I used to own two CJ's...Perhaps a 3rd is in the future?

All I added was extended brake lines because the one in the rear got pretty tight when flexed

I got good use out of my digging bar, torch, and grinder when my rusted parts needed a little persuasion. You might want to keep that in mind.
