Hey Jeephammer, is there anything special about that tall rotor. When I get it should I just ask for a tall rotor?

No, you should ask for the rotor for the cap you are using...
If you use the tall I-6 cap, then use the tall I-6 rotor for the same year as the cap.

If you use the tall V-8 cap, then use the tall V-8 rotor for the same year as the cap...

Sorry I should have been clear. I am doing the rush upgrade and have the adapter and cap in place and was wondering if I had the right rotor. I am waiting for the MSD Coil wire and power tower to come in, so I didn't know if I had the right rotor. Thanks for the help.

something I have found is that if you get the cap and rotor from a ford bronco with the 300 cid I-6 and the bottom portion it will all fit on a cj distributor... and with that cap and rotor it will separate the spacing of the wires more so that there isn't any chance of a spark jumping inside the cap... It works great on mine...
