Team Rush Question

I'm in the process of compiling my shopping list for doing the team rush upgrade and have a rotor question. The tutorial on the sticky calls fop a Borg Warner Rotor part number D219Z. The only rotor I can find at any of the local stores is part number D219. Will that still work? is that "Z" significant enough to have to order online?

You can order a complete kit here. Probably cost just as much to piece one together.

Don't get hung up on part numbers. Do what the guy who owns a vehicle that came with those parts does. Ask the parts counter guy for a rotor for a 1984 F150 with the 300 cu in straight six.

Yep^^ Then expect the counter guy to tell you that he doesn't have one in stock, but could have it there later today or tomorrow. At least that's how it usually goes for me.

That only happens to guys that live 30 miles from the nearest parts store Matt! I see there's a Vatozone in Elizabeth now.

Yeah, I haven't shopped there, yet, but it's nice to have another option.

I have patched a number of these together from the cheapest parts online (Rockauto is very good) and apart from checking they have brass instead of aluminium, the only thing I need to check is that they fit a late eighties Ford 300ci I6. The parts numbers vary across manufacturers.
