T18 clutch stuck engaged after going through mudhole

so i was trail riding and i got stuck in a big mudhole, while going back and forth trying to get out my clutch got stuck engaged on my T18 on my 1980 CJ5 the ball behind the fork popped out and now i can cycle through all the gears without my foot on the clutch pedal how do i fix this? i know i need to get the ball back in place but whats after that?

Hi, your going to have to take it apart to find out what happened.. If you mean with the motor running you can cycle thru the gears with out the clutch then the clutch fork is stuck holding the pressure plate dis-engaged. Hopefully there isn't any real damage to the clutch pack.
