T176 shift lever

Anyone welded up the tip of the shift lever to make it work again? What dimensions are new ones?

Do you mean enlarged the ball on then end of the shifter to tighten up the slop? Seems like it would work, but I haven't gotten to that point (yet).

New T-176 shifter leavers are relatively inexpensive....
