T176 in cj5

I have the t176 n my cj. one day it got stuck in reverse, so i had to rip it apart and re align the shift forks.
now, every now and then, i shift it into 3rd and it feels like it goes too far into gear, and it gets kinda stuck when i try to take it out. it happens a little for first also. anyone have any idea what could be causing this?
