T150 / Dana 20 Lube

I know that the recommended lubricant for my trans & T case is 80W GL-4. Is it OK to use 80W90 that's GL-3, 4 & 5 or do I need to use one that's only GL-4?

Get the stuff from NAPA that's rated safe for brass synchros.

I have been using the Coastal 80-95 or whatever it is with all the GL's forever. You should be fine.

Thanks I have plenty of that same brand and weight that I use in my tractor and didn't want to buy more if it wasn't necessary. I didn't think it would hurt or make shifting harder but since I've got it tore down, I didn't want to have to do it again in a long while.
