I know the adapter is almost $400 from advanced adapters.

The Jeep D300 is 23 spline input so it would bolt to the T176 w factory adapter, NV3550, AW4, TF999, TF904... I'm sure I missed a few.

The T18a has a bullgear. Basically a huge gear the sticks into the transfer case. so T18/D20 /Scout D300 from an 1980 would work if you can find them local... I think the ford case was the 205 behind the ford T18A. Heck figure out the 203/205 doubler behind your Ford T18A and you'll have 500lbs of overkill between the frame rails
