Stock springs

Can some one tell me if these shackles and springs are original? It is on a '67 CJ6, the PO made the jeep look like a M170 military ambulance.

The shackles definitely are not stock. They look like Con-Ferr shackles to me.

I don't believe the springs are either. The originals would have more leaves in the leaf pack and each leaf would each be thinner.

They were. They looked alittle to HD to be stock. So the originals would've had more leafs, would that give it a stiffer or rougher ride? It is sitting up higher than i think it should, so the PO must have put a lift on it. The jeep has no power steering topped off with the Ross steering system. So my intentions for the jeep is to give it a nice smoother ride.

More leaves doens't necessarily mean anything as to ride quality. The thickness of each leaf as well as the spring rate of the steel has as much to do with it as anything.
