Stock Radio AM / FM / CB FM stopped working / places to get it fixed?

So I uncovered the Jeep from it's winter sleep.

Put the battery in it and removed the top and doors.

Went for a spin and the radio stopped working.

The AM and the CB part of it still works, but the FM does not.

I like the idea of the stock radio and would like to keep it.

Any suggestions on where to send it?

Fee-Bay has the same radio for $500.00, untested.

Did you look into local electronics repair shops, Glenn - is that why you're looking for a good used one now? I really hope there are people out there who can still work on these things.

Just exploring the possiblity that it might be cheaper to buy rather then repair.

Also to send it out ot be repaired will take awhile and I need tunes to ride around with.

Call this number in Bradenton Florida:

941-756-7844

the guy's shop is: Obsolete Jeep & Willys Parts (Division Florida 4 Wheel Drive & Truck Parts)

I have been in his shop, he has lots of OEM things in original boxes. He's high, but has things you just can't find. He knows his stuff, been in bizness for a long time, has a huge inventory of new and used and rebuilt.

Don't know if he's there on Saturday and Sunday

Look in the ads in Hemmings Motor News. You'll find several that advertise radio repair. I called one here in California and the guy was straight up. You will want to find one closer to home. Good luck.
