Do you still have the center caps?

I wish I kept the center caps...if you are looking for some, I have a pal who might take his off. Just let me know if you are interested and I will ask him. Last question for you Glenn is what makes you think my CJ is not as stock as what the intended purpose is of this thread? just curious. And, I will throw out there that the original poster or you can delete my entry if you think so. You won't hurt my feeliings and I don't want to stray from the intended theme.

How do you like the truetrac in the rear? I have one in the front, but was thinking of putting one in the amc 20. I drive mine on the street a lot, so I don't think I would want a locker. Selectable is too much for my budget. I have a trac lok in there now but it's not very good. Nice looking jeep!

I am looking for both chrome wheels and center caps in very good condition. If his center caps are very good I am interesed!

No do not delete! If you check I have added you to the "member list"
http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f8/st.../#post14493909

My thinking is you are a little over the top with options like onboard air, Superwinch, dual batteries, 1" body lift, Fuel Injection, Crabtree shackle hangers, KC Driving lights added (yes I know I have them also but they came from the correct erea), front bumper with u bolts .

I believe the the intent of this thread is for posting CJs that have the LOOK of stock. You have a meaner looking CJ then stock.

I do not mean to offend and I like your CJ, but do you follow my though train?

Again, do not delete.

Don't worry Glenn, not offended at all. As my CJ has aged and parts wear out, I replace them with, what I believe to be better then factory parts (if applicable) all while trying to stay as "stock" as possible and trying to maintain/retain the factory look. And, most of the parts that are replaced are out of sight and don't factor into aesthetics, ala Crabtree shackle hangers which are night & day different then the stock ones.

Stay tuned on the center caps...

Thanks for the compliment. My CJ is my daily driver as well as my off road Jeep and, so far, the Truetracs have been superb.

Glenn.....I am with Mike here. If I am over the top a little, or a lot, it won't hurt my feelings. I don't want to intrude or stray from the intent.

I hate to be put in this position.

There are not hard rules, other than it should look stock.

I know it is a fine line; you have the chrome wheels rather than the blackout ones.

You do have the bumpers and winch.

In my opinion it does look sort of stock.

Maybe Defrog or Keith can weigh in here.

Yep sure do, well sort of. I have sold it to a mate so he can get jeeping again after he let his 8 rot. We have a rebuild sort-of underway. Might start a rebuild thread on that project. I'll also try and find pictures of the best Overlander I've ever seen , it'll make you CJ8 fans cry.
Can't figure out how to do pix from this galaxy note thing I'm on right now.
