This thread needs a bump!

I agree too. Surprisingly (I think) Not one response on the poor old CJ10 truck. It's feeling much unloved. Didn't even get a membership number :boohoo:

The one with the roo' bar? May take a while to get a number. While it is a CJ, a 10 does not have a roster yet. So you would be #10/01-T?

Hard to quit staring at it. Very different.

Think of it as an old soldier. Got some scars and dents, but that's part of its charm.

Is it a CJ?

I kind of thought this thread was about CJ7 as the title is stock looking CJs and is in the 7 category in the forum.

I'm showing my lack of knowledge, if it is I could add it to the member list, but what about the bumper, it does not really look stock but it is just one modification to appearance ?

Stock looking does not mean pristine looking it means unchanged in appearance for when it came off the line. I try to watch for three or less appearance modifications to add a jeep to the member list.

expectable?

YEP. It's a CJ10! Doors and front cap will swap onto a CJ body. It's kind of a CJ/ FSJ hybrid.

I had never noticed a 7 (or 5) category in the CJ section, can you link it? Thats what I get for forming habits, I never sniff around LOL

Here's my '85. Found this in NH with 34,104 original miles documented. Obviously not original wheels, but I went of the original look with the Cragar Nomads. It really is a Renegade, but the PO stuck the chrome stuff on it and the Laredo stickers which I'm gonna take off.

Excuse me? What's up with this CJ7 elitism? I have a CJ5 and a CJ8 but I have never owned a CJ7 and have no desire to. There is a CJ2a on the first page of this thread. This is a CJ forum, not a CJ7 forum, and that includes every CJ model from 1945 to 1986, including CJ2, CJ2a, CJ3a, CJ3b, CJ5, CJ5a,CJ6, CJ6a, CJ7, CJ8, CJ10 and CJ10a. Yes, the CJ10 most certainly is a CJ or why else would Jeep have used the CJ designation in the model name?
