Is this a stock 1980 CJ5 tank?

Can someone please tell me if this fuel tank is stock or not for an 1980 CJ5?

Thank You so much, in advance
Kim

And if it is, where is the second (vent?) next to the filler vent supposed to go? I found a smaller diameter hose about 1 foot long clamped to the frame on rear passenger side wheel well area. Is it supposed to adapt to that broken piece somehow and if so where is that piece supposed to connect to at the other end?

I have an 82 cj5 w a 15 ga tank and it does not look like that..I believe the 20 ga tanks were of the plastic type and that appears to be steel. I would guess no but see if anyone else weighs in.

Thank You all for your quick responses. I do appreciate it.
Well I guess it's just one more thing to add to the ever growing list of things the po lied to me about. Does anybody recognize what it IS out of? Since I don't have a replacement right now, it would be nice to know what all of these outlets are supposed to be doing, so I can make it work for me until I can buy the right tank.
Thanks again
Kim

There are 7 tubes coming out of this tank. YIKES

1. Is it possible to cap off one of the filler tube, vent tubes?
2. Can I disconnect the emissions stuff and cap off those tubes also?

and just run: fuel filler, fuel filler vent, fuel supply, fuel return?

This is turning from a labor of love into a serious ordeal that I'm probably going to regret, at high rates of speed.
So any input I can get will be more than welcome. Before I have some kind of meltdown and go buy matches.

I don't know that I'd get all that upset about it. Looks like a custom or aftermarket tank and might be a good upgrade over the stock tank.

What do the markings on top say?

It says; SENDER, EVAP, EVAP, DO NOT WELD OR TORCH ON TANK, and FUEL PICKUP.
I would still like to know though,
1. Is it possible to cap off one of the filler tube, vent tubes?
2. Can I disconnect the emissions stuff and cap off those tubes also?

and just run: fuel filler, fuel filler vent, fuel supply, fuel return?

The fuel return line has a bolt in it to cap it off at the other end in the engine compartment. One of the filler vent tubes is also capped. It was routed up under the fender well next to the filler tube but just 'ended', no plug, no nothing, just an open tube. I still don't know what the foot and 1/2 section that is clamped to the frame by the rear pass. wheel well was for, smaller diameter than the vents.
