Steering damper brackets?

so i ordered a pro comp steering damper from 4wd a couple of months ago for my cj and finally got around to putting it on and realized there werent already any brackets to hold the damper. ive been searching and searching the web for brackets so i can put it on but to no avail still nothing. can anybody please help me out to figure out to get this thing on if i have to buy a later model year bracket and jimmy rigg it somehow? sorry im new to the suspension systems and have no clue what im doing lol. oh btw if anyone needs the dampers actual model its the es2000 sold through 4wd and pro comp.

Are you talking about the bracket that ubolts to the tie rod? If so I will have at least on extra when I finish my axle swap. You are welcome to it. One is a bit rusty but will clean up. The other is in good shape. I have not made my mind up as to which way I am going but I know I will at least have one. Just let me know

A lot of of online stores will have stabilizers with mounting brackets and without. I believe some later model CJ's had stabilizers as stock equipment, therefore the mounting brackets would already have been there. I would call 4wd and Pro-Comp and see if they can sell you the mounting brackets separately. My Skyjacker stabilizer came with two brackets to attach it as you can see in the picture.

Yeah i need any brackets that would hold it on, its been tough finding anything for my 59 and since im a newbie im not really sure where to look or if i should just take a bracket and ubolts from another model of stabilizer i was pretty pissed to find out that the stabilizer didnt come with anything i ordered the kit and the only thing that came was the stabilizer itself. Called 4wd and they said they couldnt do anything about the brackets or ubolts, last time ill order anything through them jeeze. Yeah if anyones got anything extra they could float my way id be awesome!!

For what it's worth....From some research here ... steering stabilizers are mainly used for "bump steer"...So, I took my steering stabilizer shock off and can't tell the difference. I'm not going to put it back on...

My two cents...

PS...Firewalker...them thar shackles are pretty's your steering?
