Steering ?

I installed a 4.5" RE lift with the dropped pitman arm on my 79 CJ5 and I can't get the steering wheel centered. Also I can turn all the wa y one way but not the other (it stops about 1/2" from stop) Any suggestions? Is there a chance the pitman arm is off a few degrees?

As you lifted jeep your draglink becomes shorter you can lengthen it a little by screwing out tierod ends on draglink. It wont take much , be careful to leave enough treads for collars to lock onto !
Good luck

With the dropped pitman arm my tie rod is to long now! Is there a chance that they splined the pitman arm wrong?
