Stalling on Decel- Seeking advice

I have a 1983 CJ7 with inline 6, 4.2L.

The engine runs well. However, after driving it for a few miles it stalls out when decelerating with gear disengaged. I just replaced the plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter, pcv valves in an attempt to weed out the problem with something very simple and basic, but to no avail.

I am going to start digging through the vacuum line system in hopes of finding the gremlin. Can someone point me in the correct direction?

More than likely your carb needs some work. If it hasn't been rebuilt that wouldn't hurt but it could also be clogged idle tubes. Google "carter bbd idle tubes". The first link will point you in the right direction.

The advertised position for a topless, dirty jeep girl has been filled......by my wife. Thanks to all that applied.
