how do i change speedo gear inside transfer case

No cant find one 15 tooth cj5 can mine be slipping

The gear could be bad or the cable could be bad. Until you remove the cable from the gear housing you'll never know. You need a thinwall socket to get to the driven gear.

Edit: Assuming D20 tcase given '77 CJ5 in profile

You didn't specify which tcase so I'll assume the Dana 300. Remove the gold bolt and clamp shown in the top pic. Pull this out. You may have to twist it some, it has a rubber O-ring on it so a little 3in1 may help. This will expose your "driven" gear. You'll have to look in the hole to see your "drive" gear.
If your going to change the tooth count to correct your speedo reading, that's another issue with additional cautions and calculations must be done. But just ask and JF will help.
