Tractor, I just don't have the time, or the motivation. The wife would like it to be gone. I would like to get another motorcycle. It is going to a guy with a CJ7, that has two kids that wants a project. He is in one of the bigger 4x4 clubs in my area, so I'm thinking it's a good home.

Scott, I still enjoy reading the posts and getting motivated to do stuff to the TJ! But I know it will be hard to find a cool project like this for me and my kids when they get older… Oh well…

Bill, family comes first. I give you credit. You have a nice rig to DD, and I envy you another bike. I'll miss seeing your stuff on your thread, so please come by and say Howdy! Stay safe, brother.

I was in a similar situation back in 2003, I could not finish my 76 Cherokee while I was making payments on the big Dodge, raising kids and fighting the HOA. I sold it and felt sick for weeks. Eventually I found the time and money and went with the CJ; I think another FSJ is in the near future.

There will always be projects out there!

Enjoy the TJ, the last of the real Jeeps

You gonna ride wheelies and run from the cops on that thing Bill???????

Problem I see is there no way a set of my hangers will bolt up. Guess I'm going to have to start making TJ stuff next.

Well Jim, no seatbelt or airbags, but after my last "getoff," I think my riding aged about 20 years... I ride with a lot of restraint in the throttle hand!!! I'm gonna make this more of a sport-touring bike. Looking for some handlebars for it, for a more upright seating position.

Glad to see you come back with updates! I hate it when a good thread just closes and that's the end of it. Please continue to keep us updated. There's always gotta be something cool going on in a house with multiple Jeeps and a motorcycle...
