Hard to tell the axles on my phone. The picture should help.

The front looks like a GM 10 bolt. And if the springs wernt outboarded, the long side has been shortened. The brake backing plate is different than mine though.

Not sure on the rear, yet. Looks like 6 lug. That would be consistent with a 10 bolt.

roboto65 06-16-2013 03:23 PM

Wanna say a GM 12 bolt in the rear at least thats the closest I can figure from the pics I agree on the front also.

Outboarded and not a very good job either.

AustinCJer 06-16-2013 04:00 PM

The rear is a GM. It says it on the back of the axle.

Look at this picture.

This is a hi-steer drivers side knuckle. Most of the steering arm has been cut off. Can't tell from the picture if the passenger side is cobbled, or a hi steer knuckle.
The washers on the Heim joint, just above and below the joint are hi clearance washers.

And your correct, that's a lot of lift. Almost 6" for the SOA, and 4" from the springs.

If the tub is as good as you say, take 8 $100 bills, and tell him that's all you can come up with. Show up with a trailer also. Tires are worth $400 at least. Laredo steering wheel, and grab bar, at least another $100 . Don't know about the glove box emblem. There's also the factory tach and clock, the side rails. A passenger side hi steer knuckle is $200 from parts mike, and add in a steering arm.

I wonder what gears it has? And possible lockers.

Front axle, as said, is a GM 10 bolt. Nice shackle angle on that front spring.

Looks like a complete hack job, IMO.

12 bolt GM rear

Pretty sketchy work there, IMO

Luckily my main target for this jeep was the tub and dash. It has little to no rust and 5 almost brand new pro comp 35" tires. If I can sell the tires and wheels for some decent money, then get what little I can for the seat, roll bar, steps, axles, and frame, I could either break even or only end up paying a couple hundred bucks for a nice (almost rust and bondo free) tub and a good looking set of dash components.

spward 06-17-2013 12:42 PM

What are you thinking of asking for the rollbar?

boojeep 06-17-2013 06:40 PM

AustinCJer do you want to sell the fender flares? I'm so tired of the plastic ones.

AustinCJer 06-17-2013 08:00 PM

Y'all are welcome to anything on the jeep I'm not going to use. I'll take inventory when I get it home and then I'll let y'all know. The rollbar, flares, and fabric door are now "spoken for." I don't know the condition, but once I check it out, I'll send pics and we can't talk price at that point.
