Post Someone buy my CJ!

I still need to get rid of my CJ. It's an '86 with LOTS of extras! AMC 360, Projection, T-18, Dana 44 rear, Warn HS9500i, Durango bumpers, 4" Superlift, 1" Daystar body lift, Slickrock hangers, Currie steering brace, Tuffy console, new carpet, TJ flares, and MUCH more! The engine and tranny are fresh rebuilds, as are the axles. I have three tops, (hard, soft, and bikini) and two sets of doors. The gears are 4:11s, with a Truetrac rear and a Powertrax No-Slip front. The tires are 33s on AR-767s, and have about 8K on them.
I have well over $18K invested, and I don't need two Jeeps. I DO need a 4x4 pick-up, though. If you have a nice one to trade, lets talk!
The Jeep's in the paper here for $10K, but I'm open to offers. I can also sell it without the winch for less.

LOL, me too! Another vote for you to keep the CJ and dump the TJ. With a CJ in that condition with those nice mods, there is no need in the world for a TJ.

Wow I am SO drooling over that CJ! WTF do you wanna sell it for? Keep it and dump that pos TJ, bro! They still make those... you'll never see another CJ made. =(

Damn I depressed myself pretty bad there. A bygone era. Hmmm... You realized how hard it is to keep a vehicle rust-free here in New England? That Cj kicks ***, man! KEEP IT!

Peace.

Cool

Thanks for all the compliments, but you guys aren't helping at all!
Getting rid of this is going to be hard enough for me as it is! I just bought the TJ for a daily driver 2 months ago. With the gearing it has, the CJ's not very practical for an everyday ride. The gas mileage sucks, and the engine's wound out at 60-65mph. (0-60 is FUN, though!) So right now, it's really just an expensive toy. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="frown.gif" />

I feel your pain man... Although my CJ is no where near yours' condition... I hate to give her up, but it was taking way too long to build up, and I found out that I'm not all that fond of wrenchin' on heavy stuff.... TJ's aren't a bad trade at all, but not exactly "Hard-Core" jeeps..

Good luck, beautiful rig!!
