Soft top hardware measurements question

I have been thinking about saving for a top for my 78 cj5 I bought from my dad. I was thinking I'd probably have to buy the whole soft top kit with hardware. Well, My dad told me today that he actually had the hardware to the original soft top in the barn. Well I went and searched the barn and all I could find was the 2 bows and doors. I have researched and it seems I need the 4 (2 each side) horizontal and vertical bars that go around the doors and the pivot bracket where the 2 bows connect. I was wondering if anyone could give me the dimensions for these pieces so I could try to make them myself. I also need the window channel brackets but I found I could purchase them fairly cheap. My CJ5 has snaps on the side of the body if that makes a difference. I figure if I could make those bars and the pivot bracket I could just buy a "replace a top" instead of a new full kit.
