I have looked all over. Could use some help finding them or something compatible?

The OEM ones came out of a 83 laredo with chrome overlay grill.

The OEM 2 piece setup is in the photo.

Man, ebay is a hoot. Just add cj to your listing and make 1000 times profit.

I bought these and they were exact replacements from what was previously (originally, I believe) on my Jeep.

yes those do look like the same ones on most CJ's but mine is laredo package with chrome grill cover so they are irregular. It is 2 part system with a threaded metal sleeve encased in rubber with a thin molded washer that goes between the grill and the chrome overlay. Then a bumper with countersunk hole for the inset screw that sandwiches them together.

It is becoming one of the hardest replacement pieces to fin for my CJ...

I got mine at the dealer. They used them up until 2006.

Hey weapon, you asked about those bumpers on the JeepsUnlimited forum awhile back. Did you ever call the dealer that had them in stock?
You'd be amazed at what some of the Jeep dealers have in there inventory stock for CJ's but you must go to one of them and have them look up the part number to see who has them. The URL was posted as to where to find them: http://jeepsunlimited.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=549869

I was actually able to get a set of frame mounts that were completely rusted off my CJ frame from a dealer in St. Louis, MO. and also found an original windshield cowl gasket from another dealer in Texas but the cost was to much with shipping and wasn't worth it for me. I did get the frame horns though.

I will need these too so when you guys know who has them in stock let me know so I can get a set. The wellnut on the bottom is easy but getting the rubber bumper with washer molded inside isn't so much. If someone could provide the measurements of a new one that would be great. Most of these items are pretty universal.

They still sell them at the jeep dealer for yj's. They are not the same as the cj's. The main problem is that for the set of 4 is like $75. WTF?

Jeep part numbers from my sheet (not sure which one so i will list them as on sell sheet):

J4005237 Nut Hex 23043025 $6.85
55176291 Bumper St 23034004 $8.50
6034205 Screw pam 7043005 $4.35

I am looking for an alternative or source. Hence why I asked here and on JU.
