Show me your bumper!!

I am getting ready to build a bumper for my CJ. I am starting with a piece of 6in channel for the base and 1 5/8 tube for a brush guard. I would like to see some for ideas and would also like to see ideas for recovery points, as I have no idea what I am gonna do there. Thanks in advance!

Might not get to many responses since this has been a new topic every couple of months, might want to try to check the search function here, I'm sure you will come up with something, also in the Fabrication area of the forum. Not tryin to be a jerk, hope its not coming off like that. Also look at BESRK's profile or in the stickies thread area he has a link there too. Good Luck and show us what you decide, even sketches since guys can give you feedback on that more than a blanket statement of "show me your bumper" cuz alot will depend on your use of the Jeep. just my .02

Thats fine. I just wanted some ideas to see and bounce off. Like that better than digging through the archives of an old thread. People get really miffed when you reply to a year old thread.

Its made out of pipe stem (or oil filed pipe, something like that). Probably 1/4" thick. The bumper weights ~60-90lbs. It's not pretty, but its tuff as nails and I will never have to worry about it breaking. Was on when I bought the Jeep so its staying until I find a need to replace it.
