Shoulder Strap Seat Belts ????

I am about to change the seats in my '79 CJ5 from the low-back to the high-back bucket seats. The new seat belts are here (waiting on the new seats) and I need to know where the shoulder strap should be attached to the roll-bar.

My Jeep does not have the roll-bar pad, but if I get one someday, I want the slit in the pad to line-up with the shoulder belt.

Could someone who already has a pad please measure from the bottom of their roll-bar to the point where the shoulder belt is bolted into the bar and let me know?

Thanks for the help!!!

I would position it so that the shoulder strap was in a comfortable position. If you get it too high the belt will rub on your neck. The height of your seats may not be the same as a CJ with shoulder belt mounts and so going by a measurement might not work as well.
