Shopping for a new soft top

Who has the best new soft top with money being a consideration? Does you get what you pay for enter into this?

My jeep had a Bestop Tiger top on it when I traded for it. It was perfectly serviceable and worked fine.
I can't vouch for longevity, I removed/sold it when I went to an Acme hardtop.
I now have a bestop supertop and it works really good. the rear side windows can be a pita some times but it is a nice top and the two piece doors are great!

Hope that helps!

The wife keeps sending/suggesting tops from ebay etc... I looked at replace a top but have no desire to put screws in the glass body. Need to make decision quick to get the rebate.:)

Any top is going to require some sort of holes in the body to attach the mounting bracketry.

I had both a Tiger top and a Supertop. Honestly, I liked the Tiger top better. The Supertop is a pita to put up, especially zipping in the side windows. Took me 7 minutes to have the tiger on, 20 for the supertop!

I have a Replace-a-Top on mine, PO put it on it. I would love to find some 2 piece doors, carrying those huge 1-pc ones is a pain! I just don't like how it looks so haphazard with the top half sagging lower in the rear... Looks sloppy. You would think that for what you pay they could have it look straight!

jcal do you remember if that top was attached with snaps or with the rails?

The Tiger Top in the first picture attaches with snaps, the frame is bolted.
The super top is attached with rails that bolt to the tub. The frame is bolted as well.
As said above, you will have to drill your tub for either.
The two piece doors on the supertop are nice, but as said above the side windows can be a pain.
