Thanks.

You guys think a Jeep is a money pit? I have nearly $15k in the one of a kind motor alone.

It's 132 cubic inches which equates to nearly 2.3L in a 600lb bike........ You do the math.

79' CJ7 - 82' CJ8 - 94' YJ - 96' ZJ
Diagonally parked in a parallel universe.......

I have built several Hot Rods over the years.. The first one was a 27 Ford Roadster.. I started the 29 Model A Sedan shortly after finishing the 27. This was back in 1987. When moved back to Houston, sold the 27 but still have the Model A. I had to rebuild the tranny about 10 years ago and freshened it back up.. Who says Henry Ford never visualized a 466 CI Big Block Ford in his Model A.....
Here is some shots of it....

I think you need a bigger vice.....

Beat it to fit, paint it to match!

Wheel, Wrench, Repeat.

The last field job I worked on (Evanston, WY), we had two of these 6" Rigid Machinist/Pipe vices. In 1982 they cost about $900 each. When project was over, I told the Super, I wanted one of those vices for my shop. He said, take it, it's yours. I had to disassemble into the three pieces so I could carry off It probably weighs about 150 pounds. Sometimes it is really too big, but most of the time, it is sweet I would not sell it..... ha ha...
