Shocks for Rubicon Express Kit

I am undertaking a fairly complete restoration of a 78 CJ5, which is turning into more of an experience than I bargained for! I have just about decided to install a Rubicon Express 2 1/2" lift kit. Does anyone have any experience on what shocks work best with this kit? RE will include shocks with their kit (Doetsch?) or sell the kit without shocks. I had hoped to use OME shocks, but the RE saleman felt that they won't fit their CJ5 kit very well. Has anyone tried this setup? I would appreciate any suggestions regarding the RE kit (or any others) as well as any shock suggestions. Thanks.

I've got the 4.5' for my 7 and have the dosch tec shocks. they seem to be ok, they're better than what was on there before I don't know why you couldn't use the OME shocks, as they are an upgrade to the kits
