Just towed 80 miles with my wife's 4runner. Pulled it really good. Not to heavy on the stopping either. Of course it helps a lot that these new 4runners have heavy duty brakes to run the traction control and limited slip features that Toyota uses off the antilock brake system.

We needed more space. Either a bigger SUV, which she doesn't want for around town, or a trailer. I said why the hell would I want a trailer. A jeep would be like a trailer and I could drive it when I got to the destination. She didn't see it but I think the genius is starting to show through to her. Fingers crossed
