'Lift Shackles' are a good way to screw up your suspension geometry...
Stick with stock height, but get stronger ones... Most of us around here make them from 3/16" or 1/4" plate to save a few bones for the good stuff we can't make! I just bought that same spring set with the early CJ shackles, and the shackles are out of stock... Not expected in until next month some time...

The originals will work. Personally, I would replace all the bushings and be done with it. Good luck.

Stock shackles on pre 76 CJ's are actually quite strong and run with stock bushings work very well. I too agree that lift shackles are not a good investment.
