See over the fence

So this morning I was looking at a house that was for sale with a friend and spotted this over the neighbors fence. Was SOA with 3" body lift. The engine, tranny, and tcase were not in it. Poor CJ

Have you knocked on the owner's door yet?

Yeah new projects are not happening right now. I did save the location on my GPS, its only like 5 minutes away from my house. Might go knock on the door just to see what its story is and if one day it would be for sale. Looks like it has been sitting for a little while so it could be one of those projects that got started but never finished type thing.

That might be a good investmant Moc. The hard top and doors look to be in great shape and the tub doesn't look bad. Better ask about those Supper Swampers in the background too. Hey you got the floor poured yet?

I know what you mean about "new" projects. Me and my daughter went to look at this Cherokee last night, it looks much better than the photo which appears to be a rattle can black paint job. Turns out, it was forest green and almost no dents at all. 258/727/208 with factory AC. After talking to the owner who bought it in Houston in 2004, I realized I looked at the same Cherokee when it was in a storage lot sometime between 2002-2003

I don't need to start a project now but I would definitely buy a narrow track Cherokee for the future. Unfortunately, the muffler was disconnected, none of the windows would work, the drivers side floorboard was rusted through, it had rust in some bad places like below the windshield, had a sunroof that means the entire floorboard is probably rusted and the interior was awful.

Then I saw this and completely forgot about the Cherokee...grain trucks are CHEAP up near our farm
