For $300 a pair, it's worth a try. The seller has some feedback issues but also has a butt-load of sales. The return policy looks like you would be able to return them if not satisfied.

I was looking for seats as well but when I dugout my old seats, they (unfortunately) weren't in bad enough condition to replace yet. I have some crappy old Steel Horse seats but they're comfy and free.

I actually purchased a set a few weeks ago of the Garage Pro racing seats...black pleather. They looks nice and fit snug in the Jeep. I did have to drill a few holes in the seats brackets to make them fit though. I purchased them from JC Whitney for a $160 a piece and then added a discount, so total bill was about $300 after shipping. I am happy for the price.

I can't decide what to do.. I have the factory seats and the foam is still good. I can get seat covers and have them reupholstered, or buy new seats all together. What do you guys think?

Is there some thing special about the 84 85 86 CJ's that these seats will not work in earlier models?
