SCRAMBLER: Should I buy this MINT Scrambler QUICK RESPONSE NEEDED!
OK...almost mint. Actually, extremely close to mint.
1985 Laredo Scramber 86,xxx miles. I will let the pics do the talking. Absolutely nothing wrong with it (so he says) I can get it tomorrow for $12,000 Is this a good deal? Everything works as it should. Zero modifications. Original everything. Only negative it has NO AIR CONDITIONING! He even has the original window stickers! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I think it depends how you wanna use it. I'd never wanna wheel that thing. It's too pretty.

Very nice, but if you buy it, what are you going to do with it. If you wheel it then I would buy a old CJ8 and build something w/better axles etc. etc. Just asking.

I will likely try to turn around and put it on EBay if I can make a decent buck or two.
I am hoping I can sell it for $16-$17k. I do have to travel 5 hours each way to pick it up.

I think your first offer would depend on how long it's been up for sale. If the owner has been trying to sell it for 6 weeks or more, my first offer would be $9500 or $10,000. That's of course assuming everything is as he says. When I was shopping for a Jeep I ran across a lot of "mint" Jeeps that weren't as mint as described.

Hum, in this economy, not sure if I would take the chance but then again I'm not you. If you can get the guy down some then it might be worth a flip but it doesn't have low mileage on it to get that kind of $ in my opinion but that's just me.
