First of all: good work and awesome jeep!

as top of line as you seem to be going, are you going to wheel it? If so, I wouldn't recommend that rampage rear bumper. I have it for my TJ (with a swing out) and it does its job, but could be better. It hangs a little low and catches mud like that's it's job. Do a search on rampage bumpers and you'll come across some more in depth reviews.

I'm not trying to tell you what to do with your rig, but I thought you might like to know before it's bolted up.

Keep up the good work!

this thread needs more pictures. if you have actually spend the amount of money you have claimed to, the number of pictures do not equal the ratio.

Its a slow go right now but i do have more pictures to put up this weekedn. just got the frame finished and painted. I have the parts there just not on it yet. all together the total on parts so far is about 22,000 plus the 6500 on the jeep so its getting up there. kinda help up right now cuz the local shop wanted 9000 to paint it. thats right 9000. i was like what the hell. so i got to find someone else to paint it while i get the motor and tranny put in and the rest of the suspension on.

Must have been REALLY REALLY rough if it cost 9 grand. how much does the shop charge per hour. Paint and other supplys should total 1 grand, and thats the expensive fancy crap.

I always wanted a CJ-8, but its just too expensive, for me anyway. Good progress thus far, keep it up
