Looks good, but PLEASE ditch those long goofy shackles. I had similar ones on my CJ back in the day and they were the source of ALL of my steering and handling issues.

Did he bring a pile of money as well to you so you can work on it?

That is the thing that you need to make sure you have worked out... too many times people don't realize how much all that costs and how long it takes to do it.

ok need some help. I got my re4.5 and a 1in body lift. i will be ordering some 35s pretty soon. Since my axels are narrow track axels what will be the best backspacing for that. also my main question is about the flares. I would really like to put the bushwacke cj pocket flares and cut the fenders. i have herd that i can order yj bushwackers also and they will work. which will work best. thanks

Don't know where you are in MS, but there's a guy right west of Batesville on Hwy 6 that has a ton of Jeep parts for sale. Name is Tedford. I've gotten a few things from him. He's not cheap, but he has some hard-to-find parts.

If you're running the narrow track axles, stock flares will do just fine. I run 58" wide axles with 33s and use Xenon flares.

Ok today i finished welding up the frame and got it almost ready for paint next weekend. I also installed the SRS and installed the springs for a test fit. Then i painted the front axle and I will finish it up when my new blast cabinet and press comes in so i can finish cleaning it and put the new ball joints in.
