Hey all,
I got sidetracked on my Willys over the winter break. Here's the latest. I'm meeting with the owner for sure on Wednesday of this week. He said to me "I'm sure you'll make me an offer I can't refuse, so I'm bringing the title." That seems like a good sign to me. I poked around it more today and it has a 4.0 with an AX15 tranny behind it. I hope this deal comes together. It looks like it's going to be a great project.

Keep us updated. I'm interested to see how things turn out as a DD. I'd love a project like that.

Is there a reason why you won't answer anyone as to how much $$ he is asking???

He hasn't asked for anything yet. I think he's waiting to meet face to face with me.

Alright guys, I met with the owner today and I bought the Scrambler. For $1000. It has a 4.0 from a 93 Wrangler as well as an AX15 tranny. They were recently rebuilt and have about 6000 miles on them. I can't wait to get started on this thing. I'm psyched!

AMAZING deal on that Scrambler! Very jealous...great find.

Best of luck with it. Sent you a pm as I have a friend locally in MA that has 4 or 5 Scramblers and has lots of used parts & knowledge if you need anything or advice. Enjoy it...but keep the XJ, too!
