The way I see it, if the government ever decides to confiscate weapons, the people with CCs and registered weapons will be the first doors they knock on.

Yeah, I'm a cynical old fart, but I don't trust "The Man". They will have to find the hole I bury my weapons in, if that day ever comes.

Well that's not a problem for me as I don't have any weapons. Sold them all.

In PA, a ccw permit doesn't mean you own a handgun. It just means you can carry one concealed if you so choose. The is no info gathered pertaining to any pistol or handgun, only the person applying for it. However, if you've ever bought a handgun, shotgun, or rifle and filled out a 4473 form for it, the guvm't already has your number.

Yep. Same down here. But I sold all mine! No requirement for buying/selling private.

Funny, I feel exactly the opposite. Or, are you joking?

Either way, I respect your choice. It would be a damn boring world, if we all thought the same way.

If they come looking for mine, I'll just point to the garage and tell them I own a CJ, had to sell them all to fix the Jeep again!

Speaking of diesel, a buddy at work is always trying to talk me into putting a 4BT into the CJ-7. These are the Cummins engines commonly used in box trucks. The few diesel CJs I've seen are pretty cool to see and hear.

Boca Raton... Rat Mouth in Spanish! The Atlantic is so much better than the Pacific... don't you think!? Beautiful beaches and TONS of scenery!!!!! Hit a good Cuban restaurant while you are there. Then you are living! Wish I could see you Bill, but you're still 8 hours away! I hope you enjoy yourself.

Who's bikini top is that flying away in the wind??

There is a good thread on that swap (Official 4BT Cummins Swap), and Jered is sort of doing it right now. Sort of. At least he has all the components to do it, but he hasn't posted in awhile. I have heard the Jeep is noisey, smelly, and shakes a lot after the swap is done. I think you would have to really want the torque to do it. But it DOES sound like a cool swap.
