OMG!!!!!!! You been peekin.

I drove to Lowe's to get some smaller metric bolts for the motor mounts on Clay's 4.0. The factory 4.0 bolts are too long for the 258 mounts. My retired neighbor went with me, because he wanted to be cool too (except he had to use a milk crate to get in the Jeep)! I have noticed, over the last couple of days, that EVERYBODY and EVERYTHING turns to check me out as I cruise by in true southern Jeep style. On the way home, while driving past another neighbor's pasture, I noticed his COWS stopped frolicking, and raised their noble heads, and watched me until I had cruised past them. I pointed out to my neighbor the benefits of riding with me in my CJ7, of how ridiculously cool it is to be in "our" presence. He pointed out the cows were watching because the windshield wistles like a flute! Sort of like a Coke bottle in the wind. Busted my bubble....

The cows are just jealous of the belly on the driver, that's why they stare.

There is nothing like a CJ. Whether the driver, passenger, fellow jeeper, passerby, pedestrian, or even cow, there is nothing like being in the presence of a CJ. It's America and History on wheels. I will never lose my childhood excitement when I see one on the road.

And grits are good too

Well said, Ramblin. I have been inventing reasons to go to town!
