Getting ready for the pool table! My BIL has one that he doesn't want. My Inlaws are going up there for Xmas, and they are going to pick it up in Ohio, and bring it back to north GA. My wife and kids will be up there (N. GA) for Xmas... I have to work. She will haul it back on our Wells Cargo trailer. We have these two rooms, a dining room and what we call the den. The wall is a divider wall and not load-bearing. We are ripping it out. My two termites are doing the work while I lounge around drinking lemonade (that's what you do in the south... lounge around and drink lemonade). Fallon and Cameron (Fal and Cam) are busy, and wifey will be surprised! I don't know why I have these spots on my camera?? Fairies??? The camera was donated to Clay when I busted Clay's camera by Gido. It is a fine camera and takes great pics. Many thanks to Gido.

Not sure what to do about the strip in the floor. For now, I will put a piece of wood to blend the carpet. But I'm thinking laminate flooring. Love to hear your ideas.

The pic of the wall where the 2X4 was removed is where the TV will go... we just have to get one first! Probably next year. In the meantime, the big 'ol honking Samsung will sit on a pedestal over there.

I do believe thats a parkin spot for Clays Jeep just put the oil leak over the raw concrete, but if it leaks on the carpet it will just add character!

Nice addition to any house, a pool table! Where abouts in Ohio?

One thing I noticed, and since I'm not that well educated on house construction, why the insulation in the divider wall? Noise dampening?

BIL lives in Dayton. He's a Professor at a Methodist university up there. Not sure why they put insulation inside the wall!? Wish they hadn't done that. I figure that POs for homes are pretty much the same as POs for Jeeps!

Well, since I'm one to redo things needlessly, tear out all the flooring and go with in slab heating under hardwood and tile (because you need heated floors in Florida, right?)! It's what Mike Holmes would do so it's gotta be the right way!

Guess I better subscribe to this thread since the other has all but gone quiet . I think I enjoy the off topic conversations more then the actual jeep work

I already have one of those made of rubber. It's red, and it doesn't require paint.

Jered- Thanks for hanging out!

A guy at work is trying to wrangle me out of my 7. He wants to trade me his '93 4x4 Cherokee Laredo, 4.0, auto, 2" lift, KM2s, Hella lights. If I trade I can start on my 3B!!

I like Cherokees...but dont do it. CJ is worth more as it sits and this will only improve as you fix it up.
