Sam's 4x4 D44 Axle

After pricing out what it would take to rebuild the front 30 on my CJ with 3.73's, Ox Locker, ChrMo Shafts, and rebuild kit...I am at close to 2k and some people say that 35's on a D30 is pushing it. So I thought about a D44 but I am not sure I wanted to do all the fab work for that, but then I found this... http://www.sams4x4store.com/Dana44Axles.htm

Anybody have any experience with their stuff? For about $500 more I would have a the strength of the 44.

Any thoughts or other recommendations would be appreciated.

Also factor in a few hundred bucks for shipping. Tulsa, OK is quite a ways from New Jersey.
