safari doors vs half doors

i got to thinking today that i might want some doors for wheeling, and for when i have the top down, so.. i was wondering what you guys thought about some safari/tube doors vs half door set up

tube doors to me are little more than a slight piece of mind. they offer no real protection (compared to no doors at all), and since they cost about as much as used half doors, IMO I'd get half doors, so that at least you can use them with a top, and help keep wind/rain out.

make your own tube doors, i did, they were cheap and they are full functional. use exhaust pipe or use rollbar gage pipes. and weld em.
