DANG! One day we are working on axles...next I see a parted out jeep! I got dibbs on the 2.5 lift kit! You should just go ahead and pull the tub, then you can paint the firewall and engine compartment, mine got painted outside, but the firewall and engine compartment looks bad. Looks good Matt,

Hey Garry,

Thanks for the encouragement. Yeah, the axle project kinda got put on hold.

I considered pulling the tub, but a few things made me decide otherwise. First, my dash is in almost perfect original condition, everything works and looks good. Plus, I'm not particularly good with electrical, so I figured why create more headaches than I needed to. I'm also dong this completely solo, so physically removing the tub would be a challenge. My firewall and insides of my fenders look decent, and I undercoated everything last summer. It won't be perfect, but certainly good enough for this redneck.
