Roller Rockers 304 V-8

I purchased a set of Comp Cams 1.6 Roller Rockers with 7/16" Poly Locks. These are the only Roller Rockers I have been able to find for an AMC. My 1978 CJ-7 with Stock Heads don't even have studs. Each set of stock rockers are joined with a bridge/connector with what seems to be 1 5/16" bolts used with each rocker to bolt it to the head.

How can these work without some sort of bushing to make up the difference between the 5/16" and 7/16" in order to bolt the rockers on? Is there a better set out there which will just bolt on - the guys at JEGs never seem to have much experience with AMCs.

http://harlandsharp.com/amc_jeep_olds.htm

send the rockers back the only way they will work is pulling the heads off and having them machined to fit

harland makes a direct replacment rocker and why rollers unless your motor is a lot more then stock you do not need rollers
