roll cages

Anyplace sell a cage that fits under stock hardtop on a 79 cj7.
Not liking the single stock hoop with the kids in the back.
Looking for one that I can weld in and install..just dont have time to bend one.

im looking into the same . my little 2yr. old boy loves the jeep, but i just cant see him riding around in the back seat with out any protection. he loves riding around the yard and in the woods at my grandmas for the mean time. My cj is a 78 so the driver and passenger dont have alot of protection . Its got a hard top aswell.

I put a cage from a 95 YJ in my CJ. Got a kit from Summit http://store.summitracing.com/egnsea...=KeywordSearch for the front portion.

Get one that goes all the way the way to the floor and doesn't just bolt to the dash.

Yes. I'll have to get them from my work computer tomorrow and post them up.

Actually this is where I got mine. Don't know why I was thinking it was summit

Go to KOZ Offroad. He sells a few. I put one of his in, I bought the TJ kit that he custom bent to fit a CJ. I made a few adjustments just for my personal liking but I am totally satisfied with his cage. My hardtop fits with out any problems.

I used the stock fender mount roll bar with the 4wdh front hoop kit. Then I used another fender mount roll bar and used the hoop for the family hoop. The supports were used for spreaders on the family hoop. The front hoop and the roll bar were tied to the frame. Then I used the rsj 2 inch seat belt/ shoulder harness. I did add extra spreaders to the front hoop and made an overhead console for my cb. I have about 300 bucks in it.

I paid $699 plus shipping for it. I added the seat tie in bars, which I made myself(with the help of friends) We also changed the rear tubes a little just because we liked it this way.

Shouldn't a good roll cage be welded to the frame and not just bolted onto the tub?
