resto advice...

well i've been a proud owner of a 85 cj7 for about two weeks now. the 258 is in the shop right now being rebuilt. i have taking about everything off of the body preping it to paint. any tips on painting, bodywork or just any general resto advice? like rust spots...bondo or cut out the rust and weld in a new piece? whats the best kinda of paint? is urathane based paint good?

o yea.. is a/c really neccessary?

as far as metal repair,you can get any panel you need if its bad enough.otherwise,id weld in patches.urethane is a good tough paint that will last for years

by the way,unless the hardtop stays on all the time,forget the ac.mines sitting in a box in the garage
