only leak I currently have it the high side power steering hose where it rubbed through on the inner fender. 20 dollar part, and free labor

Any Jeep that doesn't leak is empty.

That's too funny right there.

Sad but true.

I find this post to be particulary offensive. My wife may stumble on this and find out that some ne'er do well cleans his garage floor.

I would not necessarily say it's clean. I got enough kitty litter scattered around that a Siberian tiger could take a dump and cover it up.

Texasdave,

From your avatar, it looks like you'd be used to this. The assumption here is that the Deptartment of War, Reacreation, & Treasury (aka, wife) is your current unit CO.

Besides, if you don't clean the garage floor, your shirt will soak up these foul-smelling fluids and it will get all over the back of your favorite easy chair. [Where is that thread about the best body wash & aftershave? Could we possibly have omitted well-used Jeep fluids?]

I clean up the garage floor so I will be able to identify & plot where the latest trail marker is coming from. [Much easier than wiping up the lube oil from the main propulsion diesels on the ship. They would bleed in quarts.]

I am down to about a quarter size oil leak a day. Pretty damn proud of it.
