Replacment chrome paddle handle question

As some of you know i am rebuilding my original hard doors and was wondering if the replacment handles come with the clip to hold the wedge in place because one of mine broke at the slightest movment when removing.

My Doorman brand had the clips. They also sell these clips separately.

Test them off the door with full pulls if you can, if not dont just assume they will work, don't install panels until the doors open with no issues. I received two bad ones in the same box.......... put them on the doors and put everything back on and one would not open the door, the other the paddle stayed stuck out.
